I agree with others, one needs to be a computer genius to know what's happening through install. Perhaps its on purpose, hope they are better at protection, than system installs.

I can only assume it's doing the job in the background. My only concern/complaint at this time is navigating the set-up, and what everything means. I don't know if I click to do something if I'm going to be charged more, or even if I should do it.

WON"T LOAD ON ANY DEVICES! I have tried for hours to load this onto any of the 8 devices I bought 8 licenses for

M Benson

It seems to be working but it was difficult to see how to install. I also seem to have been wrangled into buying more than I had intended.

I liked TotalAV when I first signed up. But I am now being bombarded with Emails ststing "antivirus is still suspended due to non-payment." I have paid. I have tried to reinstall the Chrome App on my PC only to be told by Chrome "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." No longer feels safe and there is no human to talk to me. Very disappointed.

MARTIN LESTER

good protection

Vera Murphy

I wish I could say it's great but I am having trouble installing it and I keep getting the same emails with the same links from support. I regret having given them my money. If I hadn't then I could go elsewhere. Somewhere where I could talk to a real person in support.

Jaydynn Marie

This is great i had so many notifications about my 5 viruses now I have nun now this is this is great ??????????

Mark J

TotalAV is probably the only antivirus I've used that I can forget about in the background. No notifications, light resource usage, just all around nice. It's based on Avira Pro Antivirus. It's literally Avira without the in-program ads and support that actually responds. The methods TotalAV uses to advertises their product can be shady, but they are a small and growing company compared to the antivirus monopoly owned by Norton and I'm happy to overlook that for a good product.

Good anti-virus, but plenty of annoying additional messages about more features etc, buy this, buy that. If I want something more - I will visit the web page and choose.

Jotaro Kujo

Free, and amazing. (unlike McAfee)

easton eyre

John Kennepohl

Knowing that my laptop is now protected gives me the confidence to surf the net.

Daniel Mcclure

ΗΛΙΑΣ ΓΑΡΟΥΦΑΛΑΚΗΣ (tokoutsavaki)

This extension is ideal for anyone who works in cyberspace where we are attacked every day. It is very good. It goes without saying that we use other extensions for pc defense, but this extension is very useful.

Louise

Confusing, rubbish, do not bother with this, should be renamed Totalcrap

Logan Walton

this is a straight up scam. once you download you are given no indication on how to run a scan. anything you do just takes you in a circle. DO NOT BUY.

Teresa K

This is the worst program ever. I downloaded it, but can't find any information that indicates how to run a virus scan. I purchased the premium package and can't figure out how that differs from the free version. Can't run a scan. Awful

I had been putting off getting a virus protector, I just turn my laptop on did a search for virus protectors and your I will be company jumped up FREE. Of course I jumped on it like a heart beat. Thank You so much . I am on a fixed income. I will be telling others of this virus protector.

Colleen C

I was looking for something other than Norton. Norton always had a scare notice that the only fix was paying more for enhanced coverage. This is no better - even worse. Don't know what the deal is but within a few weeks of subscribing, every attempt to do anything leads to a pop up that my product is about expired and that it had. Very hard to get any help - finally a chat where I was told to uninstall and reinstall and contact them if it still doesn't work. Really - you have access to my account info and you can't help. Will likely replace - unfortunately, most of these security software companies are buried in technology and no customer service. Stay away

Bella Rangel

I love this extension to my chrome! It protected my laptop from a virus that kept popping up! Thank you!!

judy

total fraud charged my cc and now i cant get my money back unless i close the card.

James Eifler

The ad said that I would get a special rate of $29. Then when I entered my CC the bill popped up that they would charge me $39. I want my $10 refunded to me. Very, very deceptive website to do business with. It is like dealing with a used car salesman!! Get your act together or get out of the business!!

Terry Kumm

I have used it for a year without any problems. I don't like it that they keep sending popups to upgrade to other addons.

Virginia Ganskie

These people are simply horrible. I decided I do not want to use them, yet they are constantly harassing me with pop ups all the time! They are doing the very thing that I do not want to happen! Do not try them out or you will never get rid of them!

Sandra Juul

I'm getting repeated messages that my protection is expired, and it isn't (current subscription is good through Sept). Very disruptive! I get this every time I open a website. Can't figure out how to get this turned off. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program and that hasn't helped. I haven't been able to get technical support to solve this problem.

John Hinde

Seems a few users are in the same boat. now looking for a replacement, as I too, getting repeated renewal requests or "Expired" notifications, current subscription runs until August 2024. Works fine when it works, but when it doesn't, more intrusive than the virus' it claims to prevent !?

Jerry Means

I used AVG years ago when I had Windows XP and I liked it. I have Chrome now so I'm back. If it's good for PC Magazine, it's good enough for me
